Welcome To Becoming Me !

This video blog is all about me. I run a business blog right now and a business social network site for women. I am also launching a new venture which is a blog focusing on the lifestyle of Blacks and Hispanics. But this blog here is all about me and my journey to find out who I really am so that I can become the real me. So as I get started you will see me face my toughest challenge, which is my weight. I’ve always had a problem with my weight so I’ve set a goal to drop 100 pounds. The other thing that plagues me is that I am a serial entrepreneur, so I have a daily challenge of staying focused, because so many ideas come to me. They come to me in my sleep and they are all good ideas in my eyes and I want to do them all, so you will see me fight with myself to stay on course of running and growing the two or three businesses that I already have.

It's Been A While

So it's been a while since I've posted.  Needless to say I fell of the wagon again.  I was doing Weight Watchers for a while, but found it really hard to stay discipline enough to make the program work for me.  It wasn't so much about over eating for me.  It's more about eating enough meals of the right food.  I am terrible at eating the right foods and eating enough.  My day mainly consist of skipping breakfast and having whatever is convient for lunch as long as it is easy and quick.  I've tried to get this under control, but always seem to fall off the wagon.  So I've been considering having the gastric sleeve.  When I spoke to the nutrionist I explained to her that I am not an over eater.  I just don't eat enough of the right things which cause my metabolism to extremely low.  She explained that with the sleeve even when I do eat foods that are not that good for me I would only be able to eat a very small portion and that protein is going to be really important in my transition.  I'm a little excited about getting the VSG.  I've been reading about other people's experience and really understanding how they are managing this very strict lifestyle change.  I'm ready for a big change in a good way.  So I will be coming back a little later to tell you how it's going for me.  I don't have a surgery date yet.

Stop Stressing About Your Life: Start Living Life On Your Terms

I work with a lot of people and I get a chance to see what makes a lot of them tick. 99% of them are living on someone else terms building someone else dreams. 9 times out of 10 they are miserable, but they continue to live this life because it's comfortable. Daring to believe that the life that they really desire can be the one that they live everyday. Too lazy to put in the work that it will take to live life on their terms not truly understanding that when you are doing what you love, you won't mind the work. They don't want to put in the time that it will take to change their mindset, because living life on your own terms means that you have to change the way you think about things. Fear of the unknown keeps them paralyzed even though they know that they can take the leap if they had enough Faith. But even their Faith is shook. So how does one go about living life on their own terms you may ask. Well I am happy to share with you some of the steps that I've adopted to do just that.

1. First you have to make a decision that you want to live a life that you truly love.

2. You have to pay attention to what your purpose is. Notice that I said pay attention. The reason being is because your purpose is already in you, but you haven't paid it any attention because it comes so naturally to you that you just do it without thinking about it.

3. You have to stop chasing money. As long as you chase money it will continue to run from you.

4. Don't try to please everyone, because you can't. Be true to yourself and know your worth.

5. Take some time to find out who you are. Until you do this and be completely honest with yourself you will always live on someone else terms.

6. Don't let envy or jealousy into your life. Don't compare yourself to others. No one is better than anyone else. You can have exactly what you want when you make a decision that you want it. When you make the commitment that you will do what you have to create the life that you want. When you remove envy and jealousy from your life.

7. Don't forget to pray and ask for guidance. This is the most important thing especially when you are struggling try to make sense of your life knowing that you want something different but just don't know where to start or what to do.

Life is short. Stop living on someone else terms and start living on your own terms!

Lost 2.4 Pounds This Week

I missed my update last week because I just had a crazy week before that.  I went to Tony Robbins Unleash The Power Conference from Thursday to Sunday and then on Monday I went to Oprah Life Class Tour at Radio City Music Hall in New York.  With all of the stuff I was doing I was sure that when I weighed in last Tuesday I would have lost a lot of weight, but I ended up gaining 1pound.  Check out the video as I explain what happened.

Went Weight Watchers And I'm Down 3 Pounds

So I'm a little excited because I weighed in at Weight Watchers yesterday and I'm down 3 pounds for last week.  They asked me what did I do differently for the week and I started tracking.  Earlier that week I had heard on several occasions that all of the successful people track their progress so I did exactly that and although I had heard from other women in Weight Watchers that tracking was the key to their success it became really clear when i did it myself.  So I will continue to make small changes and to track my progress.

Started Using 7-Keto With My Weight Watchers

So Wednesday I picked up my 7-Keto from The Vitamin Shop.  I started using it yesterday so we see how it works for me.  I decided that along with Weight Watchers I needed a little help to speed up my progress.  So I have WW to help me with my meals.  The 7-Keto will help in boosting my metabolism, because mine is so very slow and the SafSlim will help in burning my belly fat.  So I am excited to see my progress as I move alone.

7-Keto And Forskolin On Back Order, But I Picked Up SafSlim

I went to the health food store yesterday to purchase 7-Keto and Forskolin, but they were sold out.  They said they can't keep in on the shelves.  So funny I had never heard of it until Dr. Oz talked about it on his show.  On one of Dr. Oz shows he had Montel Williams on and they were talking about SafSlim.  While I was at the store yesterday I picked up a bottle of SafSlim.  Montel swears by it, so I am trying it right now and it taste pretty good.  Lets see what the results will be.  I started taking it yesterday, so I have some jeans to gauge it by.  If it is working before the other two come back I will keep using it.

Going To Check Out Forskolin And 7-Keto

So it's been almost a year since I've been on the site posting about my weight loss journey.  I fell off the wagon and recently got back on.  My initial goal was to drop 100 pounds.  So far using Weight Watchers I dropped 10 so my new goal is to drop 90 pounds.  I am a little impatient, so I was looking at Dr. Oz today and he was talking about Forskolin and 7-Keto.  I've decided to try them out to see if they will help speed up my weight loss.  I will also incorporate more exercise, water, fruit and vegetables.

So I will be vlogging weekly to share my progress with you.
