My Day Interrupted

Good day!  Just checking in.  I think I missed yesterday, because my aunt passed away yesterday.  My family has been going through it over the last year.  Last year in July I lost one of my favorite uncles.  He suddenly became sick after I took him to the eye Dr. in March 2010.   By July of that same year he had died from lung cancer, which we didn't know that he had.  Then in May of this year I lost another uncle to lung cancer.  He lost his fight after 2 years with the disease.  Then about 3 weeks ago I learned about my mom has breast cancer, now my aunt who was the oldest person in my family 83 years old has passed away.  So my family and I will be heading to Georgia for the second time this year for the funeral next week. 

After receiving the news about my aunt yesterday morning, my whole day just stopped.  I had to comfort my mom because my aunt and my mom were really close.  They are exactly 20 years apart.  My mom was born on my aunts birthday.  So my mom was really shook up.  The Dr. told us that it is imperative that my mom stay happy and positive while she is fighting breast cancer, so I had to be there to make sure that she was OK.  Then once I realized she was OK I went into planning mode to plan our trip.  My mom has to have the cancerous lump removed on Monday, so I have to make sure that she will be able to travel.  Now I pretty much have the trip planned for next week. 

I didn't get a chance to do much on my business, because of this, so today I am trying to catch up and do some of the stuff I missed yesterday.  I didn't exercise either, but I didn't eat that much, because I didn't have an appetite.  I am going to get in some exercise today and so far I've eaten a yogurt and a sausage biscuit.  I know the biscuit was bad, but it was good.  I will balance that with a salad for dinner. 

My daughter is coming home from college for the weekend.  I always love when she comes home, because she is funny and she makes me laugh.  So I am looking forward to her arrival.

I spent about two hours talking to my friend Georgette who just launched her new site http://www.ablissfulwoman.com. I always love these conversations because we have a chance to make sure that each of us in going in the right direction with our business.
